Environmental Building Designs is an Architectural Building Design Company based in Woombye, Sunshine Coast & Tasmania.
We use sustainable, passive solar principles to create beautiful, energy-efficient buildings with comfortable indoor / outdoor living environments.
Our work ranges from nonprofit aid projects in remote 3rd world villages to multi-million-dollar facilities here in Australia.
We strive for excellence in design within our client’s budget & like to be involved through the Design, Building Approval, and Building process to achieve the best results.
Kaarlo Pesu
Kaarlo Pesu (CAT, DPM) graduated from Brisbane QUT in 1980 as an Architectural Technician/ Building Designer…. specializing in Passive Solar Design with smart building functionality & striking appeal for both Residential and Commercial projects. He has achieved multiple design awards, including Gold for Commercial Buildings & Silver for Interior Design.
His design flair was influenced while working for various architects such as Gabriel Pool, John Mainwaring, Alan Starkey Etc. . Since then Kaarlo has also attained his Diploma of Project Management.
Kaarlo also works well as the Client agent through the building approval process/ dealing with the Council/ Consultants & Builders Etc. for a hassle-free design & building process.
Daniel Lindahl
Daniel Lindahl transforms clients’ dreams into a reality. Graduating from QIT in 1977 and receiving his registration 1980 (BOAQ reg no 1524), Daniel embraced a hands-on approach that revolutionized his architectural insight. His unique path, particularly his direct involvement in the trades, guarantees clients an advocate who understands the intricacies of practical, cost-effective, and sustainable construction, ensuring that dreams are built on solid foundations.
Daniel’s passion shines brightest in residential projects, where his skills foster environments echoing clients’ lifestyles and aspirations. This client-centered ethos, enhanced by his comprehensive project management acumen and an unwavering commitment to sustainability, promises a collaborative journey in crafting spaces.
